Lets take a trip down to memory lane....(lol)

I started this blog last yr in October 25th, and honestly, I didn't think I'll last this long in blogging. I actually even considered to quit this blog, within like the 2nd month of blogging. I just didn't think anyone would read what I wanted to share, my thoughts on what I loved and all or would find this blog interesting. And, I honestly felt like I wasn't good enough, and within the week of thinking to quit, I GOT MY FIRST FOLLOWER!!! OH BOY! THAT LIFTED MY SPIRITS TREMENDOUSLY!!!  I seriously couldn't believe it! So receiving my first follower, I decided to keep the blog, and continue on with blogging and see what happens! :)

My first full yr of blogging, I REALLLY HAD NO IDEA what I was getting myself into, I had no idea blogging was soo time consuming! I thought it would be easy, just posting posts, and then going on with my life, lol. I got excited on the idea of having a fashion blog, to show people my own fashion design illustrations.  I wanted to show people, my design ideas, from clothes, to shoes to accessories and even hair styles! But, I then realized, I'm putting my work at risk, by having people look and they could possibly STEAL MY IDEAS! My ideas are precious to me, and so I decided to post other fashion related things, like my What I Loved/Liked collection posts, outfit pics, and eventually started showing my outfit illustrations, because, I badly wanted to show my talent. :D It's like the one big main thing about me, my artistic talent, and I reallly love showing you guys my illustrations, because it's fun, and I feel right at home blogging about my illustrations. I seriously love showing my illustrations more than showing my outfit posts, because I worked really hard on them. :)

And every since my first full yr at blogging, I noticed that blogging was helping me out in ways that I didn't think it  would! 

The first thing that it helped me out with was my CREATIVITY! I noticed that I was always thinking of creative ideas, to bring art and fashion together, and to try and do creative posts, to always add a little artistic touch in my posts that I do. For god sakes, CREATING IS MY LOVE AND MY LIFE!!! And having this blog TOTALLY HELPS WITH THAT! :D

The 2nd thing that the blog helped me out with was my.....SHYNESS! I care about the blog so much and wanted good content for the blog, so I don't have to bore people, that I decided to take street style pics on my own, and well...what I'm trying to say, is that my care for the blog, it forced me to put myself out there and get over my fears and slowly get over my shyness, and that WAS GREAT!!!  I mean it's scary at times to go up to strangers for an outfit pic, but I put my fears aside and go for it, just so I can have content for the blog. :D And also, forcing myself to do street style pics for the blog, it made me feel like as if I stumbled upon a new hobby or new love, of street style pics. I mean, I always have loved looking at people who have a great fashion sense/style, but having a chance to capture it, IT'S GREAT, AND LOADS OF FUN!! :D
So yeah, having a fashion blog has helped me out personally in my life and creatively.

 Some of the highlights since I started blogging was doing two illustrations for two other fashion bloggers, Modanista Junkie, & Sister's & Sister's, and then being asked to do a drawing for two girls that share a fashion blog, Lovely Wanderlust, which I'm currently drawing, and then over July I was asked to draw for another blogger Kristina @ Beancakes, and then I will be doing a drawing for Make Shift Model. Soooo, I'm excited to be doing all these drawings, and can't wait to finish my current illustration and to start on the other illustrations for the other bloggers! :D

Blogging has opened my eyes to a whole new different world. Blogging is really amazing, it can change your life in ways you didn't think it possibly could. It's just cool that you can connect with people all around the world, that share the same interests as you, and that maybe you can make a connection with someone, and it's just pretty awesome!
Blogging, is like 1 big giant social network on it's own! Won't anyone agree? :)
I loove blogging, and I hope I can blog for a very long time, and it will be interesting to look back and see how I, as a person and artist evolved, since I started blogging. :)

I Wish I had This Outfit

The Lita Series HAS BEGUN!!!!

I had a fun time drawing this free hand with a mouse on paint, and had fun copying & pasting the Lita shoes, and the mouth on cartoony Eliza. :D lol.

This outfit idea came to me last week out of like NO WHERE! It just popped in my mind! I loved it and had to draw it on paint. 

I'm having a fun time doin these comic series, I find myself chuckling while I paste my head from another pic on to paint, next to my drawing. :D I can't believe I didn't think of this before! 

Oh well, at least I'm doing it now.

2. Loooove this!! I love the idea of the drawstrings on the waist area, and love that the zippers are of a

goldish color, goes nicely with the white. ♥ I also love the shoes ♥

3. I kind od like the top, I love the loosness of the bottom of the top, I'm just not really a fan of the V-neck of the top.

4. Love the outfit! I think it's cute, looove the prints on the sleeves and just love everything the model is wearing and love the bag as well! ♥

25. I kind of like this dress. I think it's interesting. Love the black and white, love the sequences(?) at the almost bottom part of the dress, and love the black edge of the neckline and the sleeves.

Over all, I obviously LOOOOOVED THIS COLLECTION! I don't think Phillip Lim can EVER DISAPPOINT ME!  :D I love his cool approach to clothes and just loooved the looseness and relax feel to the clothes in this collection. ♥

AWESOME DIY TUTORIALS AND BLOGS!!

Since I'm on my break, I want to get back to sewing and making things because I have some ideas, and untouched fabric that I got last summer, and WANT TO USE THEM THIS SUMMER!! LOL! :D

I'd like to make a romper, a flowy skirt, a drape vest, a knitted/non-knitted turban, annnnnd whatever else comes to mind. :) I'd also like to revamp some old clothes in my closet :). So, I've been looking and googling for goood tutorials, and found some, and want to share with you guys! :)

Finalllly I get to show you all MY TALENT!! :D

 I LOOOOVE FASHION ILLUSTRATION, AND HAVE A BIG PASSION FOR IT!! And just illustration in general ♥! I mainly come up with my own fashion ideas, and don't really do copy drawings, but I'm afraid if I put up my fashion illustrations based on my own fashion ideas, I'm afraid someone will copy my ideas, and I reallllly don't want that to happen. So I decided to draw a model from the EXPRESS Catalog 

to show you my fashion illustration style. :)

Drawn with a H pencil, 

Colored with Prisma color pencils & prisma markers

and used acrylic white paint on the belt, earrings, bracelets, and clutch

I'm self taught in fashion illustration, and have been doing it for 6 to 7 yrs! :D
Wow....LOL, I had to count how many yrs I have been drawing fashion. I'm shocked, and proud of myself.
Because looking back when I was starting out, I would look on deviant art for fashion illustrations, and say...WOW! I WANT TO DRAW LIKE THAT! I WANT TO BE SOO GOOD! And here I am...I am drawing pretty good, and coloring damn good! I amaze myself sometimes when it comes to my talent, and how far I have come.

Oh, by the way, I tried to do the half moon nail design, and it was a lil hard to do, didn't come out so even the half moons on each nail. :/ First time making it, hopefully next time it will come out BETTER! :D

Found this rock, and I looked at it, and was like...IT'S ALMOST A HEART SHAPED ROCK!!

I also took this rock with me LOL. I'm going to shape it up into a heart, and maybe make a necklace out of it? idk yet. :)

On Friday my family and I went to go visit my aunt and her family, and this is what I wore. I put this outfit together the day I went, and the day before (Thursday) I did my nails black and white, and I had no idea, I would wear a black and white outfit on Friday, lol. While waiting for dinner at my aunts apartment, my twin and I decided to go and take pics outside, but within the apartment building, it was fun :D. Later after dinner, my cousin, twin and I took a walk to the mall (they live right next to the mall :D lol), we went to H&M, and OHHH GOD, DO I MISS SHOPPING!!! LOL! I haven't shopped at alll this yr!!! I was looking everywhere, I loooved most of the sweaters, pullovers, knit loose tank tops, and a reallly nice vintagey dress with pleats, lace and a bit of ruffles, soooo CUUUUTE!!! I did a really stupid thing, I FORGOT MY BAG @ MY AUNTS APARTMENT!!! :((( So I didn't buy anything, and plus, I was soo angry that I forgot my bag, because my twins camera was in THE BAG!!! And we wanted to take window shopping pics and what not for the blog, to show you guys,  ughhhhhhhhh....wtg Eliza -.-. But I know why I totally forgot my bag at my aunts apartment, it's because I had a stomach ache after dinner, that I was really distracted from the pain. >.< NEXT TIME THOUGH!! lol. :D After H&M we were just walking around, and then my cousin wanted to check out the apple store to look at the new ipads, and OMGODDDDDDDDD!!!!!!  I GOT TO HOLD THE IPAD!!! LOL I WAS HAVING SOOO MUCH FUUUN!!! MY FINGERS WERE IN DISNEYLAND LOL!!! This was my first time being an a Apple store, and holding the ipad, sooo while exploring it, I went on safari annnnnd....first site I wanted to check out was.....MY BLOG!!! LOL :D WOW, IT WAS SOO COOL TO SEE MY BLOG ON THE IPAD 2!! ♥! My fav app, is the sketchpad,  was fun doodling with my cousin :D I also had LOOADS OF FUN PLAYING A GAME ON THERE!!! OMGOD I WANT  THE IPAD!! I mean I always wanted the ipad since it came out, but oh BOY! It's NEEDED!! It's perfect, because instead of taking my sketchpad around with me, I could just take the ipad, and just doodle/sketch ideas on it, instead of waisting paper, yeah, I'm just thinking green here... :D lol. So, since the camera wasn't with us, I took some pics with my cell, as you saw. :) My cousin, twin and I stayed at the apple store LONGER THAN H&M!! LOL! It beat out shopping!!! lol. And next time I go to the mall, twin and I are just gonna stay at the apple store, with the ipads in our hands. :D I love fashion, and shopping, but the IPAD.....it's the greatest invention to me, and I REALLLY FUCKING WANT IT! I WANT IT MORE THAN CLOOOTHES!!! LOL
